Sir Alan Sugar (Surallun) lords it over these hopefuls, like a military hedgehog, one of whom will become his apprentice at the end of the series. The others will receive the damning 'You're fired!' The real joy in watching The Apprentice is the fact that every contestant is unlikable in their own way. Watching them spout meaningless business-drivel and imaginary numbers (110% doesn't exist guys) before imploding under the pressure of a simple task fills me with pleasure. Sadistic and voyeuristic, I know. But lots of fun!
