I can't believe that Sky is making any money on this service or that the hordes who would rather watch the blockbusters (who must make up the majority of the Sky Movies audience judging by their trailers) are suddenly going to be seduced into paying to download a copy of A Chinese Ghost Story III (even though they'd really enjoy Ichi the Killer...).
Daywatch, Rashomon and City On Fire are all here as SBO World spans the years and the genres, as well as the continents.
Like all good things stumbled upon, SBO world is a mixed bag, but there is something here to surprise and delight even the most jaded of movie loving palettes. Download times aren't bad (but will, as ever, depend on your connection), quality is excellent and some of the versions available here are less edited than their broadcast cousins (that is, if you can ever find them on TV now that Film Four has become a watered-down imitation of its former self.)
