Can I just say that I'm really loving this show and I have a deep seated suspicion that it's only going to get better. But there is a dark cloud on the horizon. At the time of writing - post the US writers strike - there is still no clear word from Fox in the whether T-TSCC will get a second series. On the upside, things are looking good. The show built and held solid ratings throughout season one and the writers and producers say they have a clear idea of where the storyline is going. Fingers crossed that this one avoids TV Judgement Day.

Reliasble source and generally awesome blog io9 are claiming its getting a second season. Thank God. It's my current fave scifi, and more than makes up for the travesty of T3.

My fave thing about Sarah Conner Chronicles (apart from things 'sploding, and robots punching) is the High School drama - but with a Terminator. I'd watch a show purely about that.

Yep TSC rules, awesome action and great production values, plus lots of girls doing high-kicks. I do find myself put off by Sarah always being ok apart from a limp after being punched through walls, thrown from windows etc, mainly because it reminds me of the bad guys in the A-Team always surviving, when burly marines and security dudes go down with one pneumatic punch,I mean, have you ever banged your head on a piece of metal? that HURTS dude! otherwise its all good. Summer Glau does need to work on her acting chops pretty badly-yeah I know, she's meant to be an emotionless robot, but she's basically doing exactly the same as in Firefly, I want to see a little range in future- also, did anyone spot Optimus Prime in the pilot ep? Now that was cool...

Series finale (ok - episode 9 of 9) of TTSCC was the mutts nuts.

There is a showdown with a Terminator and a SWAT team and - because I don't want to spoil it - all I'll say is that it was a superb pice of TV. Utterly fantastic.

If you're already into Lost or Battlestar Galactica or Heroes you MUST watch this series. It's fantastic. And there's only been 9 episodes so far, so it won't take long to catch up. DO IT NOW.
