blu-ray
With the pwices of blu-way players and the lack of upgwaderbility thwough firmware etc would a ps3 make a good blu-way plaer ? or would a dedicated player make for better picture quality then the ps3?

Sony are releasing some blu-ray players this summer which feature all the latest bits plus an ethernet connection. (sorry cna't find the link I was looking for - will keep looking). But having seen a PS3 running some blu-ray discs at a mate's house I hae to say that the quality is outstanding so you might not want to wait. Also remember that Sony are constantly upgrading PS3 firmware so lots of improvements in the pipeline (and the games aren't bad either...)
